Mike Slaughter has over 31 years in the automotive business. He has work experience in every aspect of dealership from service, parts and body repair, to accounting, auto sales, service management,sales management and general management. Mike is very involved in the local community and was instrumental in forming a High School Booster Club in the town of Mendocino. Mike is a member of Rotary International and was chosen “Rotarian of the year for 2005/2006” Mike is a member of the local car club “NorCoast Rodders” and enjoys his time spent traveling up and down the Pacific Coast in his 1937 Dodge aka “The Coconut Cruiser” (Pictured).

Douna Dooley (Dirk's wife) general manager and head of our sales department has over 20 years of sales and finance experience. Douna has been the past president of the Chamber of Commerce and still serves on the board as a board member. She is currently the treasurer secretary for the Mendocino Coast Little League and a board member of the Mendocino County Promotions Alliance. With all of those board positions, you'll often spot Douna heading off to some board meeting or other when she's not in the shop making sure that operations are running smoothly.

Dirk Dooley (Douna's husband) is the director of the service department. Dirk has been certified as an ASE Master Technician and working at dealerships for over 20 years. Dirk was awarded as the top national auto mechanic in the United States in 1987 by VICA (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America; Skills USA) He then went on to compete internationally. In his spare time, Dirk is a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Mendocino Volunteer Fire Department.

With his extensive background in business management, Walt Dooley (Dirk's brother and Douna's brother-in-law) keeps the parts side of the shop running smoothly. When he's not at the shop, you'll find Walt participating in many activities with his family and friends including traveling, bicycling, hiking, surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, golfing, reading and discovering new ideas.
